Dear Group,
We wondered if you would be interested in taking part in our new competition.
The Travel Reaction photography caption competition is being run by North Yorkshire County Council’s sustainable travel team. Entrants are asked to take a photograph of something related to environmentally friendly travel and add an amusing or thought-provoking caption.
Entries will be judged by a panel of County Council representatives on originality, creativity and how well they fit the brief. The winner will receive a £100 shopping voucher, with second and third place receiving £75 and £50 vouchers respectively. All winning entries will be framed and showcased in a sustainable art exhibition at County Hall.
Photographers have until Friday, 25 September 2020, to email their photograph and caption to caption.opennorthyorkshire@northyorks.gov.uk. The caption can be included in the email. It does not need to be added to the photo.
Entrants must provide their name, address, phone number and email address. Photographs must be taken by the entrant and should be a high-resolution file, preferably JPEG or PDF. By entering, people consent to allow use of their photograph and caption on social media and in other publicity.
